In an effort to maximize our effectiveness, we are trying a new format for our Sunday morning church school I invite you to come and experience our new Sunday Morning Café! This new format will offer a few different options for classes that will provide Biblical knowledge in an educational, small group setting. Course Title:
“Connection Pointe”

Participants:
New & Prospective Members

Course Description: This class provides a more in-depth view of Pointe of Praise membership. It gives an overview and understanding of the New Testament church, the history, vision, strategy, organization, and doctrine of Pointe of Praise. Detailed information about the benefits, requirements, and expectations of a member is also presented as well as the basic  tenets of Christian discipleship.

Class Title:
 “Re:Think”

Participants: Middle & High School Students

Course Description: This curriculum has 12 complete youth group meetings centered around the theme “Re:Think.” Students will be challenged to rethink their stance on 12 different issues that they are faced with everyday. The 12 issues are: Pride, Relationships, Depression, Smoking, Language, Sex, Money, Doubting, Eating Disorders, Drugs and Alcohol, Judging, and Homosexuality. The curriculum doesn't give the usual “Sunday School” answers, but challenges students to “Re:Think” why Christians believe what they do.

  Course Title:
“The Shack”

Participants: Adults

Course Description: This class is based on the popular book, The Shack. Be prepared to participate in a powerful message of love, loss, healing and restoration of hope. This best-selling novel is being read by many of our friends, families and neighbors - those of much, little, and some of no faith. What a great opportunity to engage in a conversation about our faith!

“Intensive Bible Study”

Participants: Adults

Course Description:  This class will take an in depth look at scripture passages in Ezekiel (5 weeks) before looking at Passion related passages in the Gospel of Luke, and ending up looking at the New Testament church in the Paul’s Epistle to the Ephesians. March 1-29  “A New Heart” – Ezekiel 11:14-21; “New Leadership” – Ezekiel 34:23-31; “A New Spirit Within” – Ezekiel 36:22-32; “A Vision of New Life” – Ezekiel 37:1-14; “The Water of Life” – Ezekiel 47:1-12; “Suffering unto Death” – Luke 23:32-26; “Resurrected to New Life” (EASTER) – Luke 24:1-12; “Witnesses to New Life” – Luke 24:44-53; “Taking New Life to Those in Need” – Acts 9:32-43; “New Family in Christ” – Eph. 1:3-13; “New Life in Christ” – Eph. 2:1-10; “New Revelation in Christ” – Eph. 3:1-13; “New Life in the Home” – Eph. 5:21 - 6:4; “Equipped for New Life” – Eph. 6:10-18.
